This Privacy Policy explains how Treebū Hotels collects, uses, shares, and protects information when guests use the Treebū Hotels mobile app and related digital guest services.

Treebū Hotels provides digital guest, reservation, service, restaurant, and hotel operations tools for participating hotels. Depending on your stay, the hotel where you have a reservation may also be responsible for information it collects and manages through the app.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and identity information, such as name, email address, phone number, and login credentials.
  • Reservation information, such as confirmation details, stay dates, room assignment, guest count, and check-in status.
  • Guest profile and check-in information, such as travel document details or policy acknowledgements when required by the hotel or applicable law.

We do not intentionally collect information from children. The app is intended for hotel guests and their companions.

4. Digital Keys, Bluetooth, and Permissions

If your hotel supports mobile door access, the app may request Bluetooth and nearby-device permissions so your phone can communicate with compatible locks. These permissions are used to provide digital key functionality and related security checks. The app does not use these permissions to track your precise location outside the access feature.

5. Notifications

If you enable notifications, we may send messages about your stay, service requests, restaurant reservations, digital key status, or other operational updates. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.

  • The hotel associated with your reservation or app access.
  • Service providers that help us operate hosting, authentication, messaging, analytics, security, email delivery, and app infrastructure.

We do not sell personal information.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, support hotel operations, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the hotel, local legal requirements, and the type of information.
